…And Then Two Became Three!

2011_06_18_KLS_0112Robert and I are pleased to share some wonderful and exciting news…we are expecting! Nestled in our cozy little house here in the large and bustling city of Chicago, we are eagerly making plans for our new arrival in mid-May. We decided that we are going to wait until the birth to find out the gender…although Robert has a hunch that it just might be a boy! (After all, he has six brothers!)

I have heard glorious reports about the second trimester, which is soon approaching, and I’m looking forward to being able to cook a decent meal for Robert once again! Robert has been wonderful and heated up leftovers, made his own supper (which was cereal), and has been the most wonderful husband ever; but oh, I long to get in the kitchen again and bake! (Just as soon as food sounds good again.)

Yay! Congratulations. Our own little one is due to arrive any day now. (Remember at the FEW in NC I had just found out!) Children are such blessings and I know you and Robert and the whole family will be blessed by this little one coming to your house!

Hang in there, it will get better and you will soon be baking up a storm!

I can’t think of anything that could make the Staddon Family more happy then that Robert married Kendalyn and they are expecting! You two are going to make great parents. :

I didn’t know you were going to wait until the birth to find out the gender! Good idea. What a great way to build anticipation and excitement!

Congratulations!!!! We are SO excited for you both, and look forward to meeting this new little one!!!!!
Kendalyn, you might want to try ginger snaps, ginger tea, or maybe just ginger capsules to quell bouts of morning sickness – ginger is supposed to be really good for nausea, and (from what I’ve read) has been used to combat morning sickness for centuries. Just an idea. 😉

Do you remember Jim Sammons reading “The Hidden Message of the Lost Pearl” during the Financial Freedom Seminar? We listened to it again a short time ago. I am so grateful that you are deciding to welcome as much of God’s blessing as possible, as soon as possible, in your life! We are praying for you–and God grant you a big appetite by Thanksgiving . . .
