National Day of Prayer

Yesterday, May 5, was the National Day of Prayer.

Across the nation, each county, city, church, family and individual makes a choice . . .Two verses the Lord gave were particularly encouraging to me . . .

“When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth . . .” and “By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted . . .” (Proverbs 11:10-11).

between the darkness and the light.Whether it is through our personal lives, communications with others, business endeavors, marriages or families, God’s tangible blessing is one way He will bring the dream of life, liberty and lasting happiness to our cities.

God bless you and your city as only He can.

The National Day of Prayer is as important a time for our country as Independence Day. By keeping God’s ways we receive our great blessings. I was amazed at the peace that we have. We can enjoy so much good, and yet all enjoyment is the gift of God. Let us not forget Him, but fear Him and keep His commandments. And let us continue to pray for all men, for all our leaders, and for the peace of God’s people.
