Bienvenido!
After a full day of travel, I was grateful to be in Mexico! Robert and I are here with a mission team from IBLP, who will be encouraging pastors who are attending a major conference in Mexico City.
We were all hungry when we arrived, but we couldn’t find a place to eat because it was so late in the evening that most of the shops were closed. Suddenly a boy walked by with his tamale cart! It was a serendipitous moment. We enjoyed his tamales and were able to share the Good News of the Gospel with Him!
This morning we enjoyed a delicious Mexican breakfast with fresh-squeezed orange juice.
I spent much of the day taking pictures of the Conference and trying to communicate in Spanish with those who came by our book table. It was really a lot of fun!
Whether by giving testimonies, sharing special music, or working behind the scenes, today the team was able to fulfill the direction of Titus 2:7: “In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works.”
Estimado Jaime,
Que bueno! Espero que todo el grupo estará en buen salud y oraremos por ustedes!
Saludos,
Señora Gunn
Hay un problema – no hay comida en la foto que dice “I’m loving Mexican food”…
‘There is a problem – there is no food in the photo that says “I’m loving Mexican food’.”
I’m glad you got to go to Mexico! I am eager to go again myself sometime. I am also eager to see all the photos you take when you are not busy!
Estoy orando por ustedes…quizas pueden comunicar en el espiritu si no en palabras…:) praying for you…maybe you can communicate in spirit if not in words…
Great pictures, bro! It’s great to be in Mexico with you. I noticed Chad posted some pictures on his blog at http://12paines.com/2009/10/23/a-quick-hellofrom-mexico-city/

Thanks for calling home and telling us about your fabulous time there! Praise God for the spreading of the truth!
I’m sure the light of Christ shines through y’alls attitudes & smiles even if you can’t speak the language 🙂
BTW, Ray Comfort has an excellent International tract. It shows the Gospel in picture form, then has John 3:16 in several different languages.
Thanks for all you comments! Yes, we had a wonderful time in Mexico City and a very safe trip back. I got to talk to two people clearly about the gospel on the plane ride back. It sure was a long trip though!
