Happy Mother’s Day!

My wonderful Mom and Grandma! This week Mom and I attended a very nice Mother’s Day dinner with Grandma at her church. It was so good to see friends and neighbors gathering together to honor their mothers. I returned home with a new gratefulness for my Mom and the priceless friendship we share. I thank God for the huge blessing of  a loving mother. (Sorry that the pictures are so blurry! I’ll have to ask James for some photography tips.)  Mrs. Dolly with her daughter and new granddaughter!

Our friends Mrs. Fluharty and Mrs. LawlisOur good neighbor Mrs. Davidson with her daughter Dianne and granddaughters Emily and Autumn.

Praise the Lord for the beautiful picture of grace we find in each of our Mothers. Motherhood in accordance with God’s Word is an unmerited gift indeed that supersedes all worldly wisdom.

I was just thinking back today on different ways my Mom has invested into me with great gratefulness and joy!

Amen to everything Joshua and Jenny mentioned. I appreciated your blog Esther. It looks like it was a great celebration and I so enjoyed seeing pictures of the Salem folks once again.

What counts is that you took the pictures. (I don’t even know if I would have remembered to bring my camera!) Anyway, No matter what kind of pictures we take, they will always bring back more memories than none at all.
