Psalm 100 verse 2

Riding the Kubota with Great Uncle Don!How is this passage Giddy up!going for you? We had a chance to apply this verse on Sunday afternoon by learning a few Nice shot!songs together to sing at a local nursing home. This act of serving others was one way we could serve the Lord because His Word says in Mat. 25:40 "Verily I say Operation Party Hats!unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Let us know how this verse is helpful for you in the upcoming Sitting on Grandpa Brown's lapdays.

Go Josh!

Friday we celebrated Daniel’s 17th birthday and what an enthusiastic celebration it was. Both sets Happy 17th Birthday Daniel!of Grandparents, Great Aunt Lil and Uncle Alan came for the weinie roast. David, Joshua, Caleb, the twins and I made birthday cards and party hats that morning to help with the festive atmosphere. The twins were very eager to help Daniel open his gifts! The Lord blessed us with beautiful weather and a great time together.

It’s great that you are taking the time to keep your adventures documented!

I’ve been working overtime for the past few days so the verse about serving God with gladness is very applicable. Not everyone is glad to work long hours 🙂

Friday at the school here is normally a day to be joyful, with school-teaching coming to a close, pizza for lunch and frisbee in the afternoon (with wonderful weather today too). However it does pale in comparison to the realization that we serve a risen Savior who loves us. Each of these, His blessings, then become a fresh way to return praise back to Him!
