7 Principles in 7 Days

{LFseminar} The Basic SeminarWe have now made our way back to the Indianapolis Training Center. While we still have chores and dish cleanup, we have now focused our attention on learning the seven life principles as taught in the Basic Seminar. Even by the end of the week, we have seen some evidences of how these life changing truths have benefited the spiritual walk of many students.

One of the challenges in FOCUS is to memorize the entire book of James. With 108 verses in 5 chapters to memorize in six weeks, Seth began memorizing as a requirement. However, after hearing that the prerequisite for Success was meditation on Scripture, he now looks at this challenge as an opportunity to gain spiritual success and a deeper love and knowledge of Christ.

{LFseminar} Studying for the Follow-Up CourseMuch is explained on how to become free from bitterness. Another student sincerely confessed how he would often forgive on the surface but still inwardly harbor bitterness toward an offender. It is encouraging to see him diligently search his heart and attentively listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

Andrew has applied self-control in watching his words. Another student is learning the freedom of taking into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Joshua has demonstrated how he has given God ownership of his life by yielding his rights to participate in many activities because of sickness.

God is at work. Please continue to pray for openness and brokenness among both students and leaders. As we launch into this fourth week, there will be plenty of opportunities to apply and share what God has shown us this week.

Amen! That is so encouraging to hear, James! Praise the Lord. I will continue to pray that God will bless your efforts (as well as those of all the other leaders) with evident fruit. I am sure you are benefiting a lot as well!

The testimony of the students above must bring great joy to all as the work of our Holy Spirit is revealed. We do not always have the privilege of seeing the fruit of our labors, but can rest assured he that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, brining his sheeves with him.

Thanks for all the prayer! Prayer is like inviting God to come and let His will be done in the situation you are praying about. I know God will continue to work!
