Jumping into Resourcefulness

Getting ready to jumpDavid coming off the ramp. One day David and I were riding our bikes and thought of somthing really fun we could make. We built a ramp for the bikes. We used old boards and nails. It is a lot of fun trying to jump farther then last time. I think our record for now is over 2 yards.  You don’t always have to buy new equipment. You can use old materials that would otherwise be wasted. There are  many ways we can show resourcefulness.

Yeeha! Looks like fun! Great post, Jonathan. Resourcefulness is making wise use of that which other people might normally overlook or discard. When you combine that with creativity, the sky is the limit with what you can do!

By the way, am I seeing things or does David’s knee look a little banged up in that picture? He must have had a few tumbles as he was “jumping into resourcefulness”. Hope it heals up quick!

I actually had scraped my knee before, while I was riding my bike, not while I was jumping, so far we have only had 2 minor accidents that have not resulted in serious injury.

It is a lot of fun looking at all the inventions you come up with, Jonathan. Bikes are so much fun!

Great pictures! They really capture the exhilarating excitement David must have been feeling. 🙂
