Centennial Christmas Ornament

The year was 1912. It had been fifty-five years since the “Great Railroad  Celebration” for the arrival of the first train, and Salem was ready for a new train station. Constructed by the Baltimore & Ohio, the Salem Depot served its people well as they entered the boom town years between 1908 and 1925. For years to come the town would have a fitting way to represent their town to the many who passed or visited Salem by rail.

Today, the handsome brick building has withstood one of the greatest tests of all, the test of time, and this year we hope you will celebrate it’s centennial with us.

The ornament is shatterproof and features fine line artwork in red and green on white frost.
