Inspiration on the Ivories

This past summer, after lots of encouragement from friends and family, Clayton Reedstrom and I had several piano duets recorded by Nathan Corduan. My brother James came up with an inspiring design and IBLP offered to sell them for us at store.iblp.org.

Clayton and I have really enjoyed playing praises to our Lord together. We’re looking forward to performing a new Christmas arrangement at the IBLP Christmas Conference next week! We are both very grateful for our parents, siblings, and the many others who have inspired us to play for God’s glory. Thank you!

Travels in Singapore and Malaysia

Last week I spent some time in Malaka, Malaysia, attending the annual Southeast Asian ATI Conference. We flew into the Singapore airport and I was immediately impressed with its beauty and cleanliness. I normally don’t take pictures of baggage claims but this one was amazing. The whole city was very clean!

Leaving Singapore, we drove across the bridge into Malaysia. What really impressed me about Malaysia was the miles and miles and miles of palm trees! Evidently, Malaysia is the second largest producer of palm oil in the world (next to Indonesia.)

We stopped for lunch at . . . McDonalds! The menu was similar to a U.S. McDonalds except you could shake up your french fries with a nice, zesty Asian-style spice. I thought it was pretty good!

Mr. and Mrs. Teh were wonderfully kind conference coordinators and made us feel right at home. There were many people from Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia at the conference and they were a great joy to meet and talk with. It was exciting to see families on the other side of the world who love the Lord and desire to serve Him with all their heart!

Viva el Perú!

The team has safely returned from Peru, rejoicing in all the amazing things that the Lord has done. Thank you so much for your prayers!
