Salem Apple Butter Festival!

IMAG0446 - Copy (2)Earlier this month everyone pitched in to make it possible to have a family booth at the Apple Butter Festival. This year we added cookies and West Virginia Fruit and Berry jellies in addition to the honey, candles, calendars and artwork sales. Just for fun, we put up a little table for anyone interested in origami and had a blast making jumping frogs and all sorts of cute little animals. We are grateful for how the Lord blessed it and opened the doors for a potential business opportunity and for some great conversations.

Our booth"Look what I made!"

IMAG0438Another blessing was outstanding weather for the weekend!

It looks like you all had a blast!
A Hands-on table! What a great idea and way to invest into the lives of children.
Did you get any opportunity to talk on spiritual things?

    Neat!!

When Jeremiah was younger he would have loved the tomahawk throwing! 🙂

It was a very worthwhile experience, especially meeting so many people and answering their questions. Yes it was good to be able to talk to a number of children about spiritual things at the origami table, and also a few young adults and parents through the week! We even met a couple of missionary families that came through. It was very encouraging. Praise the Lord!

It looks like you all had a good time at the Salem Apple Butter Festival! Also, it’s very good to hear that you had some opportunites to talk with others about spiritual matters; and meet some missionary families!

I hear that you all are coming to Nationals this November?! I’m very excited about meeting you all there!

    In Christ,
    Bethany

Good to hear from you, Bethany! Unfortunately, we will not all be able to make it this year but I believe Daniel is planning to be there. Give it your best, Bethany!

I love seeing pictures of how you had things set up. Can’t believe I missed it again this year . . .

I didn’t see your comment until just now…I will miss meeting both of your there, as I have enjoyed reading your blog over the last several years. Thank you so much for the encouragement!
