Solving Significant Problems

Perspective

“The significant problems we face today cannot be solved
at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.”

–Albert Eienstein

Introducing Lenspiration!

Lenspiration Logo

Though most visitors to staddonfamily.com have already heard about Lenspiration from one source or another, I felt it obligatory to officially announce it’s introduction into cyberspace!

Lenspiraion: giving the inspiration of the Creator
through the lens of a camera. This sums up the purpose behind the formation of Lenspiration.

About a year ago, I began to accomplish this by showcasing my favorite pictures online on a simple website. Now, due to developments from the past few weeks, it has expanded into a full fledge portfolio, complete with a blog for interactive discussions on photography and the ability to purchase both prints and downloads!

Of course, there is much expansion envisioned for Lenspiration. New pictures are added continually and the current appearance will be updated as development continues. For now, stop by for a visit: there is much to explore at www.lenspiration.com!

A Mighty Fortress is Our God!

A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.

Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing;
Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing:
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He;
Lord Sabaoth, His Name, from age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.

And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us:
The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure,
One little word shall fell him.

That word above all earthly powers, no thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him Who with us sideth:
Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;
The body they may kill: God’s truth abideth still,
His kingdom is forever!

In Gratefulness to a Great Grandpa

Back row: Karen, Heather, Grandpa & Grandma, Eric and Ted; Front Row: Robert Rice, Daniel, Tyler, Esther, Donald, Jonathan, James, Robert Staddon and Michael. (Both Roberts were named after Grandpa.)
Grandpa loved his grandchildren. There wasn’t ever any doubt about that. In the following pictures and quotes we hope his undying love and encouragement will be passed on to you as well.

Grandpa's lap was the place for stories and all sorts of fun things!Way back in 1988.

We could count on Grandpa and Grandma coming for a visit when a baby was due.With Jonathan and David on one of many afternoon walks.

Thirty happy years. As he would say:

“It’ll feel better when it stops hurtin’.”

“Everything will be A OK! Don’t worry ‘bout nutin.”

“I wouldn’t tease you!”

“A riggety jig and away we go, away we go. A-yo a-yo a-yo!”

“Not Good-bye, So-long.”

“Thank You for everything. . . . And guide, guard and direct us and draw us all into that closer walk with You. And Amen.”

". . . And Amen."
