The Valentine’s Banquet

Last Friday evening, the single staff here at Headquarters worked diligently to host a Valentine’s Banquet in honor of the directors and couples serving with IBLP. But this was no ordinary banquet! The six course meal, lavish decorations, and creatively decked tables attested to the countless hours spent in making this the most memorable event of the year! In this new photo album, you can now see a glimpse of the sumptuous event.

Pretty cute. All that work, all the fun of dressing up, all the blessing of serving others and making them happy. Allen would have fit right in–he already wears a touring hat! Thanks for the pictures.
Oh, and he loves to plan fancy meals for our wedding anniversary, so this was reminiscent of those lovely times our children have treated us to the same special service.
That’s a great album. By first impressions, I think picture 5357 (B&W) is the best of them all. I’m not big on elegance, but that was pretty impressive after all. 5309 and 5328 and 5495 were especially good too I thought. If you don’t mind me saying so, I would crop 5309 a bit more just on the sides, mostly the left side.
It must be great to not only serve behind the scenes yourself but use your camera to honor those who honor others and spend their time behind the scenes. Certainly, marriage is honorable–Hebrews 13:4. And in contradiction to the trends of the day, the Lord reward you as you strengthen others in their marriages.

Wow! Talk about a lot of diligent effort… it looks like it all paid off. Beautiful… gorgeous… spectacular! What a neat idea!
