One God–One Nation!

Ever heard this quote before?

Ronald Reagan, 1984: “Without God democracy will not long endure. . . . If we ever forget that we are one nation under God then we will be one nation gone under.”

Autumn Portraits

This was one of the most beautiful autumn seasons I had ever experienced. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Peak color usually lasts for a very short amount of time. During this period of a week or less, I was out taking pictures at every chance I had. Morning, as shown above, was where I got my best images.Entrence to IBLPColor surrounding Graue Mill Rippling color

At noon, I had to be a little more creative. Objects other than foliage needed to be my main subject because of the flat lighting of mid-day.

In the late afternoon, things again became phototastic. Shadows, contrast, and color emerge once more. But  it doesn’t last for long. Once the sun sets beyond the horizon, everything turns dull and gray; the once brilliant landscape is dragged into the desolate colorlessness of evening.

“Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice” (Psalm 55:17).
