Mission to Mexico

People crowded around the book tables so tightly that I could not go anywhere! The enthusiastic response to each session was amazing. We were in Mexico sharing the truths of the commands of Christ with over one thousand pastors and churchgoers. The book How to Resolve 7 Deadly Stresses had just been translated into Spanish! At meeting after meeting people were hungry for truth and eager to hear God’s Word proclaimed.

For three full days we not only enjoyed the change of weather from chilly Chicago but the kindness of many Mexican people. Each session was blessed by the Lord. What a joy to see Him at work in Mexico!

I love the pictures! They make it so I can picture all the wonderful stories I’ve heard about your trip. Praise the Lord it went so well.

Isn’t it amazing to see palm trees and feel balmy breezes in December? Last night, in a chalk-talk, I drew a picture of the Christmas story which, after all, included the palm trees in Israel. On Christmas morning we plan to teach here at the school, surrounded by mountains, palm trees and rice fields. Christmas greetings in Chinese abound! May we give God glory as we realize that the power of the Christmas spirit goes far beyond the weather and surroundings.

What a joy to see so many who are faithfully laboring for the kingdom of God in Mexico. God continue to bless them with love and boldness as they proclaim Christ and His commands, which are the power for a life of freedom, peace, and joy.
