Thanks for the comments. For those of you who were wondering, snowmobiles are propelled forward by a rotating track in the back (like you might see on a tank). Steering is done by the two skis on the front. It's amazing how effectively they can cut through snow, even if it is fresh. They can go pretty fast, too, especially on packed surfaces. What fun you can have in it! Cross country skiing is such a blast. What I liked about it was the pace you go at still allows you to interact with one another and really take in the beauties around you. It is also a great way to get comfortable on skis before you try down hill skiing! :-) Great pictures Robert! It sure looks like you all had a blast! Snow, snow, snow! What fun you can have in it!
