Hey Josh, it was a misspelled word; I actually meant stream. :) Yes, this was the first time I can remember it has done this.

Thanks so much Wilkes Team. We did get three inches of snow which made a total of 8 inches! We have been doing a lot of sledding and snowboarding. Can't wait to hear your sledding adventures. Keep warm. :)

It sure was a ton of fun! However, after skating on it that first day it was quite bumpy and rugged. Because we were also expecting snow (which would ruin the skating) the night of the day afterwards, we all decided to dump water all over it and come out again the next day. It was even slicker! We played a game of ice hockey that was so intense and exciting I stayed out an hour longer than I had planned! Looking forward to doing it again sometime, everyone.

Yippee! Isn't God's creation wonderful? I'm sure it was a challenge to get the ice all ready for skating but I'm glad to hear that everyone was working on it together. Keep up the good team work, Staddon brigade!

Now that looks like some frozen family fun! Neither cold, nor snow, nor freezing breath will keep the Staddons from making a memory. Just keep bundled up tight and smiling bright to keep all that cold far out of sight!

We were checking the weather this evening. Daniel and Kenan eagerly informed me that you all are in for 3-6 inches of snow. So, have a snowonderful day.

You are very right, Jonathan, about how fun it was! Skating on a real pond is so much better, more old fashion, and makes such good memories. But it was sooooo cold! Even the stream was frozen over! So much for the previous day's 8 degrees; that morning was 2 degrees! Can't wait to do it some more, though, because you stay warm no matter how cold it is.
