However, after skating on it that first day it was quite bumpy and rugged. Because we were also expecting snow (which would ruin the skating) the night of the day afterwards, we all decided to dump water all over it and come out again the next day. It was even slicker! We played a game of ice hockey that was so intense and exciting I stayed out an hour longer than I had planned! Looking forward to doing it again sometime, everyone. It sure was a ton of fun! Skating on a real pond is so much better, more old fashion, and makes such good memories. But it was sooooo cold! Even the stream was frozen over! So much for the previous day's 8 degrees; that morning was 2 degrees! Can't wait to do it some more, though, because you stay warm no matter how cold it is.
